Brands & Markets

Included below is a selection of my most recent and most awarded projects in branding, advertising, and marketing from over 3 years of experience. Feel free to follow links to see my work in more depth!

perladellacoppa

Perla della Coppa

I designed the copy, logos, color pallette, and packaging for this brand in under five hours. I conceptualized the company only weeks before. Italian for pearl of the cup, Perla della Coppa is a european, summer-styled boutique tea brand whose teabags' strings are weighted by pearls created from repurposed ocean waste. Each box, designed to look like a mascot whale, complete with a ribbon shaped like a whale's tail, contains an envelope with which customers can mail their pearls back to the company for discounts and rewards. Organized to capture value with environmentally conscious consumers around the world, the company is colorful and friendly, characteristics reflected in its visual and verbal systems.

Alliekatt Ceramics

Utilizing skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Wix website design, copywriting, copyediting, videography, consumer research, and media planning, I gave the traditional local artist business model a pleasant facelift. Working closely with founder Allie Thurgood, I devised a brand identity and marketing position that will last the company's lifetime. Included in this work was a customer journey analysis, brand board, brand collage, a voice guide, mission/vision/values identification, and a branded film.

This project was presented to the client via an organized site. You can view it now by clicking the button below.

Wildflower Bread Co.

Taking place over nearly five months, this collaboration with Arizona chain Wildflower Bread Company included a comprehensive 12-month media plan, budget allocation, customer journey analysis, brand audit, and unique campaign whose goal it was to attract the Gen-Z audience. My team and I worked together to allocate the budget and create the media plan, which won first prize at the conclusion of our course. I designed all of the copy for this "You Have Enough on Your Plate" campaign, and I developed the ideas for the mockups included below. The video is an extremely rough draft that was identified as most creative in the competition.

This campaign and media plan won first prize in a course competition, with the drafted video being singled out for having the most creative approach.

Qualcomm Snapdragon

I was lucky enough to lead an international and intergenerational team to solve a brief in a special weekend competition hosted by LIONS. We were given 36 hours to solve a professional brief given by Qualcomm, producing a research and recommendation paper, a presentation, and a 30-second video compilation to present to a panel of judges. This panel was comprised of Qualcomm, WPP Media, LIONS, and local Arizona advertising representatives.

My team worked extremely hard to produce the quality of work that won us the silver prize at the conclusion of the competition.

I designed all of the copy for the campaign, including the core of the campaign ("Snap Out of It"). The entire experience was wildly educational, as I learned with my team how to identify a proper campaign North Star that addresses the brief and meshes with the company's existing brand identity.

This campaign won the silver prize in a competition hosted by LIONS of Cannes fame.

Hachette Book Group

My work at Hachette Book Group grew my social media capabilities and client communication skills. I was able to use skills in Canva, Instagram, Bluesky, WordPress, Edelweiss, Mailchimp, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Word to produce content and engage with stakeholders within and outside of the company. The featured Juneteenth campaigns for both fiction and nonfiction garnered quadruple the engagement on the smaller department-specific social pages than had been seen before my tenure. Turns out, working with a view of Radio City Music Hall does good things for creative and collaborative exploration.
